Turning a Prophet is an offbeat drama with a darkly comedic twist. The story follows the charismatic drug dealer, Collin, from the buzzing city of Hollywood to the rural parts of California’s central coast. Between casual day drinking and long, deep chats with his customers: Life is easy. That is until Father Wisdom, the leader of a well-known cult (and Collin’s best customer) is murdered in Collin’s apartment. This sets off a series of wild events that find our unlikely hero on the run from hitmen, law enforcement, AND the cartel.

So, he decides to hide in the last place anyone would expect: The doorstep of the infamous “Blessed Nation” cult, posing as the reincarnation of their beloved leader, Father Wisdom. After convincing the cult of his newfound identity, Collin just has to maintain his façade and of course continue to avoid hitmen, cartel gangsters, and law enforcement all the while changing the Blessed Nation community for the better. How hard can that be?
